Irani missile hits israeli chemical hub

An Iranian missile struck an Israeli chemical factory. The missile, which raised the possibility of a chemical leak, landed on the Beer Sheva factory near the Niot Hovind industrial zone. Firefighters extinguished the fire. Residents were told to stay indoors with their windows closed. The main highway connecting Beer Sheva was closed by government.

The Neov Chemical Zone is home to the  19 chemical and pharmaceutical factory. This is where Israel's main hazardous waste disposal facility is located. Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed that the attack was a retaliation for Israel's targeting of its factories and strategic assets. The attack cost them dearly. Israel's Environmental Protection Agency later confirmed that no hazardous chemicals had leaked. But the Iranian missile kept coming and targeted the location in Beer Shiva and injured 13 people.
